Food, couldn't ask for more.

I watched these 3 shows about cooking with weed and they’re binge-worthy

As your Cannabis Life reporter — and a trained chef — I want to educate you as much as I can about weed and its various uses. Recently, I wrote about do’s and don’ts about eating weed.

Here, I wanted to get you caught up on three shows that can teach you about cooking with cannabis, how to use weed concentrates and other infused ingredients.

‘Cooked with Cannabis’

Hosted by world-famous musical artist and chef Kelis, “Cooked with Cannabis” is a cooking show where three contestants get three courses to win over a hungry and curious table of celebrity guests.

The winner of each episode receives a $10,000-prize based on how well they consistently incorporate cannabis and control the dosing of each course. The stoned reactions from the host and guest judges like Ricki Lake and Jo Koy range from silly to introspective and make the six half-hour long episodes worth binging.

You will come away with a better understanding of how to use ingredients like THC- or CBD-infused salts, oils and butters. You can find this show streaming exclusively on Netflix.

‘Chopped 420′

Available for streaming with a Discover Plus subscription, “Chopped 420″ is also a competition show featuring elevated infused cuisine. These chefs are aiming to create unique and flavorful weed-infused dishes using ingredients like CBD honey, raw cannabis flower and THC chili oils.

This show could be a great way to pick up new recipe ideas or learn about popular weed strains, spices and condiments that can be used to lift a meal from plain to extra-ordinary — or just condiments to get lifted.

‘Bong Appetit’

“Bong Appetit” is a Viceland-produced television series where host Abdullah Saeed hosts extravagant cannabis dinners featuring chefs that are famous in the cannabis community for their expertise.

The three seasons of this series that are available for streaming on Hulu feature a wide range of weed strains, cultivation appellations (yes, like with wine) and infusion methods. Watch this show to learn more about how to cook with weed or about the many byproducts that are made from cannabis.
