Ziggy Bombs food truck to open brick-and-mortar restaurant on Worcester’s Franklin Street

A well-liked food truck based in Worcester will soon have its individual brick-and-mortar restaurant.

Ziggy Bombs, which sells one of a kind, gourmet steak and cheese sandwiches, declared on Fb Thursday that the new restaurant will open up at 72-78 Franklin St., across from the Worcester Prevalent. It will involve both a restaurant and a merch store.

“We’ve been back and forth speaking about this for the very last couple months attempting to complete the offer, and now we’re going to get started every little thing,” operator and chef Mike Devish advised MassLive. “Everything is staying rushed to get open quickly.”

Devish reported the spot, which previously housed Franklin Street Fare, will contain a dining room wherever prospects can appreciate the complete Ziggy Bombs menu as nicely as a “build your own” selection. The shop will offer clothing as perfectly as the truck’s personal soda line, Ziggy Pop.

Devish has been hoping to open up a lasting physical area considering the fact that the truck was released. He explained he is aiming to open up the new restaurant in September.

The Ziggy Bombs food truck opened in March just after Devish bought raving opinions on his pop-up functions and is open up Tuesday via Saturday. The truck has a large wide range of unique sandwiches, like the “Pu Pu Platter,” which is topped with hen fingers, crab rangoons, boneless spareribs, beef teriyaki and duck sauce.
