Recently, the tsunami of COVID-19 conspiracies has (fortunately) slowed down to a trickle. They’ve been changed with persons complaining about laneway residences in Burnaby and how the town is “growing much too rapidly.”
Oh, and the lack of “white” food items in a Burnaby searching shopping mall.
Indeed, you go through that proper, another person actually took the time to e mail their community newspaper to complain about how their community shopping mall has as well many “Asian food” options.
The email came as a “letter to the editor” but didn’t incorporate their entire title. We really do not publish letters with out their name driving it until there is a safety concern.
The criticism is about how she went to the Astounding Brentwood shopping centre and uncovered there was a lack of “diversity” in the possibilities at the food stuff courtroom.

First of all, if she actually wished “white” foods she could have wandered around to the DQ which is just outside of the food stuff courtroom. Secondly, expressing that you felt like you were being in “another country” because of some Asian eateries is blatantly racist. Why never you just yell “go again to your country” at the prospects and be accomplished with it.
Critically, more than enough with this rubbish. This grievance is a symbol of the continued anti-Asian dislike that we’ve witnessed in Burnaby and further than. We are a group of so numerous cultures and they all belong.
