Texas thief stole almost $3K worth of brisket

The common manager of a barbecue restaurant in Texas says that a thief stole practically $3,000 truly worth of brisket on the early morning of Aug. 4.

Alison Clem, the typical supervisor of la Barbecue in Austin, Texas, explained that 20 briskets were being stolen by a person who jumped a fence at all over 4 a.m. and ran toward the smoker, according to FOX 7.

Clem explained that she thinks the thief had been setting up the theft.

“We’re sort of speculating that he’s been viewing. You know, someone that utilised to cook dinner for us possibly. We haven’t had a turnover in our property because we’ve been here, so it wouldn’t be present-day. So, which is also sort of peculiar that he understood.” Clem explained.

She explained the incident was caught on digital camera and went on for all over 15 minutes.

“One of my strongest men back again there can barely elevate 10 briskets in a box, and [the thief] lifted them about his head. So, I truly just feel that it was prepared.” mentioned Clem.

The expense of the meat, in accordance to Clem, is $3,000 when seasoning and labor is factored in, she claimed.

Clem also stated that while it’s the seventh or eighth time that the restaurant has been broken into, it’s the initial time that meat has been stolen.
