At Kawartha Food Share in Peterborough on Tuesday early morning, organizers introduced that the meals drives held through Peterborough County collected 8,000 lbs of foodstuff together with $5,000 in donations. The donations will help foodbanks in Lakefield, Havelock-Belmont-Methuen Township, Curve Lake Initial Country, Buckhorn, North Kawartha Township and the Lovesick Lake Native Women’s Association.

Kawartha Foods Share supports 37 Peterborough and County food stuff financial institutions, foodstuff cupboards and meal plans that support to feed above 7,700 persons regular monthly.
