How to Choose the Best Wine Cooler: Wine Cooler Buying Checklist

Choosing the Best Wine Fridge: A Buying Guide

Deciding on the right wine cooler to buy can be daunting because there are several brands and models to choose from. You want to consider several features before buying a wine cooler. We have compiled all the factors that you should add to your checklist when you want to buy wine coolers.

1. The price

One of the things you should consider before buying a wine cooler is the price. Know how much you can afford before buying a wine cooler. You want to spend enough money to get a reliable wine cooler.

You don’t have to spend so much money if you don’t have a higher budget. You can always opt for a wine refrigerator with a lower price that meets your wine storage needs.

2. The size and capacity

Consider the size of the wine cooler you want to buy. Wine coolers come in different sizes, from small to large. A small wine cooler can store 6-20 bottles, while large models hold 200 wine bottles.

If you are a fan of collecting wine, you should consider buying a large wine cooler. You should consider a built-in wine cooler of 300mm. Buy a wine cooler that can hold as many bottles.

3. Single or Dual Temperature Zone

Another thing to add to your wine cooler buying checklist is the temperature zones. There are several temperature zones. Dual-zone wine cooler refrigerators have two separate parts that have independent temperature controls for storing red and white wines. This feature is appealing, but a wine cooler with two zones is not always a necessity. You can always store red and white wines in a single zone wine cooler.

The temperature range is another thing you should consider before buying a wine cooler. A normal wine cooler should have a wide temperature range of about 45 – 65 ºF. Digital temperature control is better if you want to be a wine cooler because it is easier to use and convenient.

Another thing you want to add to your wine cooler buying checklist is a tinted glass door. It minimises UV rays that can destroy your wines. Your wine must not be exposed to UV rays for a long time.

4.  Humidity:

The humidity level of the wine cooler refrigerator you must buy must be about 50-75 percent. Humidity is important during a dry climate because it protects your wine cork from drying out or letting air enter the battle. However, the humidity level should not be above 80% because mould will develop on the label and cork of your wine.

Pick a wine cooler that is both durable and stylish and will last the test of time. Consider outstanding customer services, pricing, and free shipping before buying a wine cooler from any online company.
