Denver business owner struggling after city bans food trucks downtown: ‘We had zero say’

The city of Denver is trying to battle soaring criminal offense by banning the operation of foodstuff trucks in downtown regions.

Proprietor of RJ’s Tacowich Food Truck Leilani Johnson joined “Fox & Pals To start with” Friday to discuss the recent transfer, which forced her to shift her small business and has damage her fiscally.

“It feels terrible. And as a new small business, a lady in company, it is really just tough. It is really now hard. And now we are creating it even tougher,” Leilani Johnson,  told ABC Denver. 

“We did 50 percent of our typical profits on a Saturday night time. … There are improved approaches to clear up this issue that [don’t] require hurting the modest businesses who are making an attempt to accomplish a company for our local community users.”

Johnson explained to Carley Shimkus that food stuff trucks were being offered minor to no detect and are now struggling to figure out where to work their corporations.
